G|Days Kenya {Plus Branding Competition}

I come bearing good news today! Hehe, but first a hello would do…right? I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was fabulous and I will tell you what I was up to during the course of this week…hopefully.

Other than that, I believe we have a reason to be happy! Ok, we always have to be happy but here’s my reason for today. G|Days Kenya is almost coming to town!! For those who do not know what this is about, I am going to briefly explain to you and hopefully, you will get the drift!

G|Days 2012

So what is a G|Day? This is basically a day or week (In which case it will be G|Week) where developers and tech enthusiasts alike gather for a specified number of days to discuss emerging Google technologies, learn about new Google apps, interact and network with Googlers and basically have fun while at it! There are many G|Days held in different countries in the world through out the year. It is not only for developers...business people, decision makers and students also greatly benefit from such conferences.

I attended my first G|Day Kenya in November 2012 and I must admit, it was one of the most exciting events I had attended. I was just getting to know about Google and right now I can owe my being a Google Student Ambassador to some of the experiences from that week.

Schwag for G|Days 2012 :)

This year’s G|Day Kenya will be taking part in a couple of weeks. I am proud to say that this time I am part of the organizing committee, yippee! There is a lot that goes into planning a G|Day. But we are optimistic that it will all be done in good time.

However, we would like to involve other people in helping us making this event a success. And that is where you come in!!
