If you are
interested in solving social problems then this is definitely the post for you.
Especially if those solutions involve the use of software!
This
is because the registration for the Intel Code for Good Hackathon is now open
for student developers in universities. Developers need to form a group
comprising of four participants and register through this
link.
Each
team will be required to work together to create HTML 5 or Android applications
that will tackle predefined challenges faced by various NGOs.
What
about prizes you say…
Well,
each member of the winning group (maximum number is four) will walk away with a
device loaded with cool +Intel software. But apart from that all participants will also get loads of cool Intel merchandise
(goodies). Everybody is a sucker for free stuff especially those tech tees! So bring
it on! And just like all other Intel events, you can be sure that the food sector
will be very well taken care of. Hehe, for some of us, this is like a huge deal
breaker!! #TeamFoodie
